Netflix Inc. is an American OTT streaming service and production company based in California, US. The company offers a film and television series library as well as its own productions known as Netflix Originals. Netflix Originals released its first original film in India, ‘Love per square foot’, and it’s first show in India, ‘Sacred Games’ in the year 2018. Netflix has since produced over hundred shows and films across various languages.
The retro superhero film, ‘Minnal Murali’, had the biggest online premier for a Malayalam film through Netflix. It aired on Christmas eve in 2021, and has since garnered the attention of national and international movie lovers into the small yet surprisingly consistent industry of Malayalam cinema.
In the year 2022, Mindstein Studios had conceptualized, filmed, and produced content for Netflix.

The short film ‘What if Netflix was Salim Kumar?’ was pitched and filmed by Team Mindstein, as a comedy short for Netflix to reach Malayalam speaking audience with some of their best films.
The Nacho Nacho through India Reel as a promo for RRR, was designed and executed by our team in a week’s time.
Our artists flew around several cities including Hyderabad and Mumbai to film the creative sequence of the stars Ram Charan and NTR Jr, dancing to the Golden Globe winning song ‘Nacho’ from RRR.
‘Minnal Express’ was another social media marketing campaign for Netflix’s Minnal Murali (2021).
One of the few double decker buses servicing in Kerala was hand painted and driven through the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram for this campaign, which was designed and filmed by the team from Mindstein Studios.
Vishnu Venugopal directed the campaign, while Vyshakh Sudhakaran produced it. Appu Bhattathiri handled the edits and Harikrishnan BS completed the color grading.
‘Stranger Things with Ilaiyaraaja’ saw the Netflix International hit series ‘Stranger Things’ team up with Indian musical maestro Ilaiyaraaja for this Netflix promo which was produced by Still Waters films and directed by Akshay Sundher.
