Joji is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language crime drama film written by Syam Pushkaran, and directed by Dileesh Pothan. The film was produced by Bhavana Studios in association with Working Class Hero, and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Shyju Khalid is the Director of Photography and the film editor is Kiran Das.
About Project
Joji had VFX requirements for about 12 minutes. The characters dependency on technology had to be shown with digital close ups of screens of such devices.
VFX Highlights
The drone was digitally modelled and rendered for this sequence.
Scenes
This fire sequence was shot in separate layers. The overhead fire was shot without the artist and was composited in post.
In this crucial scene, a few elements were enhanced in post production. Here a small pellet wound and a bit of CG blood was required.
Here, an important play happens in the reflection on the glass as a character overlooks. The reflection was shot separately and composited later.
