About the Project

Virus featured around 25 minutes of VFX by Mindstein Studios. This included monitors of medical devices, set extensions, erase and modification of real elements, and digital creatures including a baby bat.

The roads and streets of Calicut had to be shown as empty and ruined.

The film was shot in an annex portion of Calicut medical college. This side had to be extended to recreate the scale of the real hospital.

The famous Calicut bus stand had to be erased and emptied to show scenes of curfew.
